Itinerary:
Day 1: HO CHI MINH - ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Hochiminh. You will receive your visa, collect your luggage and proceed to the exit where you will be warmly welcomed by our tour guide and transfer you to center of Hochiminh city formerly known as Saigon, is the economic heart of Vietnam and the main hub of the southern region.
Check-in at your hotel for leisure and relax after a long flight. Check in time at 14:00.
Free time for relax, Enjoy the first night in Saigon.
Day 2: HO CHI MINH - CITY TOUR - CU CHI TUNNEL (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Our tour guide and driver will pick you up to start a day full of energy with a city tour.
8.30am: Transfer to Cu Chi to explore the amazing site where Viet Cong hid during the War. It is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign tourists - the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a "Free Target Zone". Visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed before entering the tunnels. Spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food in war time).
12.30pm: Back to city. Start Ho Chi Minh City tour with a visit to the Reunification Hall which includes: formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, war situation rooms 10 meter beneath earth’s level. The guide will show you important historical facts about this building and some French colonial structures, the Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, The City Hall and the last one is Opera House.
5.00pm: End of day tour and back to hotel. Lunch/ Dinner by your own. Overnight in Hochiminh city.
Day 3: HO CHI MINH - MEKONG DELTA (B)
Breakfast at hotel.
A trip to Mekong Delta to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and the rich culture of the vibrant southern Delta region. Boating down the river to experience the local life, fishing port, fishing floating house, enjoy the local folk song music and seasonal fresh fruit.
8.30am: Our driver pick you up and depart from Ho Chi Minh for My Tho city by air-conditioned car. Enjoy the peaceful villages on the way and get far away from city life. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda. Then move to My Tho boat station.
- Pick up at My Tho Tourist Boat-station, take a boat trip on Mekongriver that covers areas of My Tho fish-farm and 4 islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix
- Transfer to Rach Xếp (Ben Tre), visit the factory of crafts and the showrooms of coconut products.
- Get on a horse cart along the nicest rural village of the area on the way to visit honey bee farm where guest can enjoy the taste of honey tea.
- Rowing on sampans along the canals of Mekongriver covered with shady water coconut trees.
- Continue to Rach Tan Thach, take a motor - boat go along small canal to discover the beauty of Ben Tre, which homeland of coconut and visit “Hồng Vân” - coconut candy factory, one of the famous specialty of Ben Tre.
4.00pm: Returning back to coach and going back to Ho Chi Minh City. Drop off at hotel and relax.
Lunch & Dinner by your own. Overnight in Hochiminh city.
Day 4: HOCHIMINH - DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel then check out at 12:00.
Transfer to Tan Son Nhat international airport for your flight by driver without guide.
